Divisional Portfolio Leader: Research
Each School within the Division has at least one senior academic appointed as a Research Portfolio Leader (RPL). The School of Education also has an Associate Dean: Research. In conjunction with the Head of School and Dean: Research & Research Education, the RPL is responsible for the provision of academic leadership in the planning, management, development, quality assurance and improvement, and growth of research within the School.RPLs are therefore key administrators of research policies and procedures at the school level as well as the providers of significant support and advice on a wide range of research issues.
