Welcome from the Pro Vice Chancellor
My
passion for education and research means that I am deeply cognizant of
the crucial role that universities play in creating and developing our
societies. The effect our outputs and results have on our communities is
vital.
The teaching, learning and research undertaken in the Division of Education, Arts and Social Sciences (EASS) is particularly dynamic. Our outreach and expertise positively impacts on more than 11,000 EASS students who are studying a range of undergraduate and postgraduate degrees which are offered on every UniSA campus, including Whyalla and Mt Gambier. We span across a range of disciplines and have developed synergies within our Schools and programs that encourage and promote inter-disciplinary program development to give our students a truly unique study experience. We take great pride in liaising with industry and the professions to provide a study experience that will prepare our students for their professional careers. Where possible, our programs are enhanced by the incorporation of real world professional experience as part of our degrees.
I am very pleased to welcome you to this Division and I hope that your time at university is rewarding and fosters within you a passion for lifelong learning .
