The Applied Statistics Unit provides the following range of services:

Training

Training seminars can be provided for a variety of statistical software packages including MINITAB, SPSS, STATISTICA, SPLUS, LatentGOLD, AMOS, LISREL and Neural Network Software.

Training seminars can also be customised to suit a specific area of research or business activity.

Consultancy

The ASU seeks to meet individual client needs in the delivery of the following areas of expertise:

• Data mining
• Experimental design
• Conduct of surveys and interviews
• Structural Equation and Latent Class modelling
• Data entry
• Graphical and inferential analyses of results
• Provision and presentation of statistical reports
• Industrial statistics
