Though individual cabins are designed to be freestanding and highly adjustable, this section exemplifies how an ally of our urban campus can be enhanced and transformed by the presence of the cabins.
The site chosen is located between the Barbara Hanrahan and Yungondi Building on the University of South Australia City West Campus. It was chosen because this alley was identified as benefitting the most from updated seating but also exemplifies the sloped grade, narrow alleys, and materiality found on other parts of the city west campus.
The main outcome was to extend interior functionality a source of accent lighting and a framework for everyday use along with night market and event space.
