- The Bob Hawke Prime Ministerial Centre: the Hawke Centre's Public Program serves the community through a lively calendar of national and state lectures, OECD and other partnerships, special government and business briefings, providing a unique public learning opportunity.
- Anne & Gordon Samstag Museum of Art : the University of South Australia Anne & Gordon Samstag Museum of Art is one of a national group of university museums and galleries. The museum manages the University's collection and presents a changing program of original as well as touring exhibitions of contemporary art, craft, design and architecture. It also conducts acquisitions, publication and forum programs.
- Planetarium: the Planetarium at Mawson Lakes campus is a unique 45 seat facility, housing the Zeiss ZPK 1 projector which projects an artificial night sky onto a dome-shaped ceiling, and has several outstanding demonstrators presenting live shows. There are also several short courses on offer for the intergalactically interested community.
