Internal Scholarships

The School of Commerce offers a number of Scholarships and Awards for both postgraduate and undergraduate studies.

The prizes and awards are presented every year at a ceremony in graduation week.


External Scholarships

PERA Conference Research Student Scholarships

Title: 2008 Elizabeth Whiting PERA Conference Scholarships for Postgraduate Research and Honours Students
About Scholarship: Two PERA Pacific Employment Relations Association)  Conference Scholarships are available for full-time postgraduate research or honours students who are not otherwise subsidised, to present a paper at this year's 8th Annual Pacific Employment Relations Association Conference at Ballarat
Value: Each scholarship includes reimbursement of reasonable expenses up to $1,000 as well as exemption from the PERA registration fee
Eligibility Criteria: The scholarships are available on a competitive basis and will be awarded on the basis of the best completed papers submitted by postgraduate research or honours students
Application Closing Date: In order to qualify for this award, the full paper must be submitted by 29 September 2008

Summer Research Scholarships

Title: Honours Year and Summer Research Scholarships 2008
About Scholarship: The Australian National University offers a number of Summer Research Scholarships in most research schools, faculties and centres during the summer vacation period (usually from mid-November to early-February).
Value: Full board at Burgmann College; A weekly allowance (tax-free); Return travel to Canberra; An opportunity to undertake a short research project on an approved topic
Eligibility Criteria: A Summer Research Scholarship at The Australian National University
