School of Commerce Seminars 2012

About the seminars

The School of Commerce Seminars are coordinated by the School's three research centres, the Centre for Regulation and Market Analysis, the Centre for Accounting, Governance and Sustainability, the Centre for Comparative Water Policies and Laws and the School's new research group - the Centre for Applied Financial Studies.

Our seminars provide an opportunity for our academic staff and research degree students, as well as our national and international colleagues, to present their research in progress. Our seminars sometimes feature workshops and master classes by staff and visiting scholars, and directed discussions about ongoing research projects and the research agenda of the School as a whole.

We primarily host external scholars who work in disciplines that reflect the core interests of staff in the School, namely accounting, economics, finance, law, and property. Interdisciplinary work in any field related to markets, regulation and governance is also valued.
