Study Property at UniSA

The study of property is concerned with the evaluation, management, transfer, development and administration of land and improved properties. It is also about the interaction of people with land and improvements to land.

Property professionals need to be able to make informed decisions on the use and management of real property, and solve land resource allocation problems. The Bachelor of Business (Property) aims to equip graduates with such understanding and skills, as well as the academic qualifications necessary to practice in specialist property areas.

Professional recognition

Graduates who complete the program are eligible for Graduate Membership of the Australian Property Institute. If graduates subsequently complete two years of supervised valuation experience under a Certified Practising Valuer of the Australian Property Institute then graduates become eligible to sit an Australian Property Institute oral examination for elevation to Associate Member of the Australian Property Institute with Certified Practising Valuer status.
Graduates upon completion of the program are also eligible to act as a real estate salesperson and can apply for membership of the Real Estate Institute of South Australia.
