About the School of Commerce

The School of Commerce was established in 2005, bringing together the disciplines of:

Its undergraduate and postgraduate programs are amongst the most popular in the University.

The flexibility of study modes including online delivery accommodates a diverse range of students which allows the School to offer programs in Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia and through Open University Australia.

The School also has a strong research focus, which compliments the teaching and learning environment from which the University itself has developed.

Our coursework and research programs are industry oriented due to the Schools long record of active involvement with industry, commerce and government. The School collaborates with industry to develop and deliver many of its programs. The School has an excellent teaching and research profile in the University, as evidenced by its numerous teaching awards and by the impressive volume of staff publications, and is now working on building its research grant income.

The School maintains close and healthy links with professional bodies. The School is held in high regard, both nationally and internationally, for offering programs that cater to the professional needs of the business community and government.
