Dr Herkutanto has conducted mediations
in high conflict situations in Indonesia. With both medical and legal backgrounds,
he has mediated issues between military families of victims of ‘insurrections’.
His paper will provide Asia Pacific mediators with an insight into the use of
mediation in complex and volatile situations.
