Diversity management

A demographically diverse workforce can increase creative decision-making,
boost morale, assist with the problem of skill shortages and generally
improve organisational effectiveness. Australias labour force is diverse in
terms of age, gender, language, religious, and cultural backgrounds, making
effective diversity management an important national issue.
Our research investigates diversity management practices that are most
effective in ensuring nondiscriminatory hiring of skilled migrants, creating
an inclusive environment for diverse employees and promoting the advancement
of women into management positions.
