Professor Gerry Griffin is the Pro Vice Chancellor and Vice President: Division of Business

Before joining UniSA in January 2004, Gerry spent nine years as Professor of Industrial Relations and Director of the National Key Centre in Industrial Relations, a research centre established by the Australian Research Council at Monash University. He held a number of administrative positions at Monash including those of Director - Academic in the Faculty of Business and Economics and Head of the Department of Management. He was an Associate Professor in the Department of Management at the University of Melbourne before he joined Monash. Gerry has extensive links with overseas universities and has held visiting appointments at universities in Britain, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand and the USA, and at the International Labour Organisation in Switzerland. 

Outside of the academic world, Gerry has worked full-time in industrial relations in both the public and private sectors. He has had extensive consulting experience with a wide range of national and international organizations, and his views and opinions on industrial relations feature regularly in both print and electronic media, particularly on the ABC.
