CERAR offers a full range of environmental and analytical services in its
state of the art equipped laboratories as well as routine analytical testing
of all environmental samples including water, plant and soil matrices for
both organic and metal contaminants.
The laboratory is equipped with:
Gas Chromatograph - Mass Spectrometer (GC-MS)
Liquid Chromatograph - Mass Spectrometer (LC-MS)
Inductively Coupled Plasma - Mass Spectrometer (ICP-MS)
Liquid Chromatograph - Inductively Coupled Plasma - Mass Spectrometer (LC-ICP-MS)
UV/VIS spectrophotometers
Luminometer
Microwave digest facilities
Automated digestion blocks
Where available the laboratory uses well-developed and tested analytical
methods such as those employed by the USEPA. In addition, CERAR offers
advanced Analytical Capability in method development and can tailor make a
method to client specifications. This is particularly advantageous when
uniqueness or rarity of a chemical is such that a standard method for
analysis has not as yet been developed.
