Study tours
CELUSA offers university-aged students a university campus study experience and the opportunity to become members of an Australian family for a short time. Students develop their English language and communication skills in weekday classes and on class excursions and through the international student environment of CELUSA. Credits for home university programs are often part of the study tour arrangements.
Integrated study tours
The opportunity to meet and learn with students from other countries in the same classroom is very popular with university-aged study tour groups.
Integrated study tour participants pay the same cost to individual students at CELUSA, and participate in a 20 hour study week. As few as ten students of a lower intermediate or higher level of English language can make up a study tour group, because each student is placed individually into the proficiency level most appropriate for them. CELUSA classes include a number of education excursions and field trips within class time that are related to education activities, cultural studies and language practice.
In addition to spending time at CELUSA in class, integrated study tour participants are managed by the Study Tour Coordinator who ensures students a memorable study tour experience. There is a graduation afternoon tea ceremony at the end of the program for five and ten-week integrated study tour participants and their Australian homestay families.
Please contact the Study Tour Coordinator for further information.
Closed study tours
A closed or separate study group tour typically consists of 15 or more participants and includes a number of half day educational activities depending upon the study tour objectives. CELUSA is able to offer a range of activities and tuition hours to suit each study tour group with its own program.
