IELTS testing centre
The IELTS test centre has increased its candidate capacity for 2009 and now
offers one of the shortest availability times of any test centre in
Australia.
Priority is given to South Australian candidates, but interstate
candidates are accepted and welcome to apply by post (see
How to apply).
The IELTS test centre usually runs two tests per month and all results
are posted 13 days after the test date to the address given. Please inform
the IELTS Office if your address changes.
Important note: For reasons of test
integrity, all Australian IELTS Test
Centres are currently unable to release results until authorized to do so by
IELTS Australia. This may mean that results are released later than the 13
days. The Test Centre has no control over this release date.
Note that results are not
available from the Student Services Centre Reception. All results are
posted. Candidates wishing to use Express/Registered
Post service to guarantee prompt results delivery should include a
self-addressed pre-paid Express/Registered Post A4 envelope with their Application Form when
registering.
The next available test date is:
Saturday 9th January 2010 (General Training only)
Saturday 23rd January 2010 (Academic Training)
Please note: There are a few emergency places for local candidates for 5th
December 2009 test. Please contact the test centre or come into the reception in the Brookman
Building during office hours to register. These places are limited.
Local candidates should contact the centre by email for earlier test date
enquiries.
