How to apply for the IELTS test
All candidates must submit:

There are two ways to apply for the test: 1. In Person; 2. By Post
1. In person
IELTS applications are accepted in person from 9.00am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday. Please go to:

Please bring your self-addressed pre-paid A4 envelope with your Application
Form if you want your results to be sent by Express/Registered Post.

if you want your results to be sent by Express/Registered Post.
Please note that postal applications must include a certified passport photocopy.
Certified photocopies mean stamped and signed by a:
- Police Officer
- Pharmacist
- Lawyer
- Justice of the Peace or Public Notary
- Post Office Manager
Any incomplete postal applications will be returned and not processed, meaning you may miss your first choice test date.
IELTS test fees 2011
A$330 (excluding GST) or $A$363 (including GST).
Depending on your reasons for taking the IELTS test your test fees may or may not include GST. This fee is set by IDP and is the same in every test centre in Australia. This fee is valid from the 1st of August 2011.
Payment types:
EFTPOS
Credit card (VISA and Mastercard) - all credit card payments will incur a 1.5%
surcharge.
