Changing a test date
You may transfer your IELTS test date if there are places available. You will need to complete and return the Test Transfer Form to the IELTS Office at least five weeks before your scheduled test date. An administration fee of $75 applies. No transfer is allowed less than five weeks before the scheduled test. Please provide your receipt when requesting a transfer.
Cancelling an IELTS test
You may cancel your IELTS test and receive a refund by completing and returning the Test Refund Form to the IELTS Office five weeks or more before your scheduled test date. An administration fee of $75 applies for cancellations. No refund will be given for cancellation less than five weeks prior to the test.
Medical refund
Candidates can apply for a refund on medical grounds. They must apply within five working days of the original test date. A signed medical certificate on headed paper must be submitted, along with the IELTS Medical Form signed by the same doctor.
