Graduate Certificate in Management (Innovation and Entrepreneurship)
A target group for the CDE's Diploma in Innovation and Entrepreneurship is people wanting to learn about a more creative and innovative approach to management or the solution of social problems. Entrepreneurship need not be confined to profit-seeking businesses: the same principles can be applied to solving problems in the not-for-profit sector. This is often known as social entrepreneurship.
The Centre for Development of Entrepreneurs at the University of South Australia offers a Graduate Certificate in Entrepreneurship. This consists of four intensive courses (held in Adelaide) and can be completed in a year or less, on a part time basis. It equips budding entrepreneurs to start a new venture with analytical skills which should stand them in good stead in working towards solutions in a social context.
