When and how will I find out where my Examination Centre will be?
Return to: Campus Central FAQ Home > Exams external students
A confirmation email will be sent to your UniSA email account approximately 3 weeks prior to the start of the scheduled exam period with your exam centre allocation, exact start time and additional important information. You will receive one email for each individual exam.
If you do not receive your confirmation email(s), please notify the Exams and Results Team.
The email will provide:
- The name and address of your exam centre and any additional location details such as public transport and parking.
- The exam session start time. Note that session start times vary widely between exam centres. All times quoted in the email are in the Exam Centre's local time.
- Some centres require students to confirm their attendance prior to the date and some explicitly ask that students don't contact the centre for confirmation. It is your responsibility to ascertain the correct procedure at your designated centre.
Please note as well:
- You will need to take your UniSA student card or photo ID such as a Drivers Licence or passport to your exams.
- Bags, phones and books (unless otherwise specified) are not allowed at your desk. The centre will indicate where these items can be left prior to the commencement of the exam.
- We recommend that you arrange to arrive at the centre 15 minutes prior to the scheduled time.
- If you are not going to sit the exam, for any reason, we ask that you contact us as soon as possible.
Important note
It is a complex task to arrange centres for large numbers of students in a
diverse range of locations. It isn't possible therefore to accommodate
individual requests for preferred exam centres.
