What do I do if my card will not work in the library?

Borrowing books

If you have a new card, it takes 24 hours for the information on your card to be downloaded to the library system.

Check if the barcode has been damaged and if so you will need to get a new card from Campus Central. If it is not damaged, check the card at both the library desk and the self-service machines. If it works at one and not the other, the library should be able to fix the problem.

Otherwise, please bring the card to Campus Central where we will investigate the problem further.

Photocopier

If your card will not work in the photocopier 24 hours after it has been printed, please bring it back to Campus Central and we will issue a new card at no charge.
