How do I get a student ID card?
Return to: Campus Central FAQ Home > Id cards
Internal students
Once you have fully enrolled into your first year of study, after a 30 minute delay, you can come to any Campus Central office and have your card issued. We take the photo and the card is produced in around one minute.
Use of student ID cards are covered by the University's terms and conditions.
External students
As an external student, it is not a requirement for you to have a student ID card because you may not need to come onto campus. However, as an external student you may require a student ID card for one of the following reasons:
- You are an ENTEXT student (Entitled to extra time in exams)
- You are a full-time student and may be entitled to discounts when using public transport
- You are required to come on campus or a nominated exam centre to attend exams
- Nursing students and teaching students may require ID for clinical and practicum placements
- Travel at concession fares on all Adelaide Metro bus, train and tram services funded by the Passenger Transport Board
All full-time external students will be sent information pack to their mailing address for creating or updating their ID card. If you have not received this information (ie if you are part-time), and would like a card, please contact IDcards@unisa.edu.au and we can arrange for one to be mailed out to you. Alternatively, you can attend any Campus Central office and have the card issued on the spot.
Use of student ID cards are covered by the University's terms and conditions.
