What do I do if a class I want to enrol into is full?
Return to: Campus Central FAQ Home > Enrolment
If the class is full and there are special circumstances that mean you cannot select any other options, you need to apply for a full class override by submitting an online form below. Note that you should not contact academic staff or lodge a manual override form at Campus Central for a full class override, this kind of request is decided by designated staff in the School that owns the course. Due to OHSW requirements students can not be enrolled in classes where the maximum room capacity is already reached.
Follow the steps below to make sure you have all information needed before completing the form.
- Identify the School that owns the course. Use the Course search function by entering the course name or Subject Area and Catalogue number (ie EDUC 1014). The School details will be displayed in the blue section under the course title.
- Make sure you have the class details of the full class, and if applicable, alternative classes in case your first preference is not possible. As the majority of courses will have multiple components (eg lecture, tutorial or workshop), you will also need to provide details of all related classes. This will ensure that you are enrolled correctly in all course components upon approval of the request.
- Access the online override form for full class and submit your request
You will be sent a response detailing the outcome of the process to your email account. In some cases you might need to enrol yourself via myEnrolment, otherwise the override will be processed by Campus Central. By completing this form, you give permission to UniSA staff to enrol you in the courses listed in the request form.
