How do I drop a course?
Return to: Campus Central FAQ Home > Enrolment
Up until the census date you can drop individual courses via myEnrolment. To do this, log onto myEnrolment:
- Select the 'Enrol in courses' page
- Select the checkbox next to the correct course
- Select the 'Drop selected courses' button.
- Double-check you are dropping the correct course and confirm.

You may see a warning if you are dropping the only course you are enrolled in for a particular Study Period. This lets you know that if you do not enrol into another course, you must take a Leave of Absence or Withdraw from your program.
You can drop courses up until the final day to Withdraw Fail (WF). Please note that if you do drop a course and gain a WF, this affects your Grade Point Average (GPA) in the same way as a Fail 1.
If you need to drop a course because of exceptional and extenuating circumstances (such as ill health), you may apply for an Amendment to Enrolment and Fees in Special Circumstances.
If you would like to change classes within a course, see Changing tutorial times.
If you are active in two different programs (degrees) and would like to drop/withdraw from one of them, please complete a withdrawal form and submit it to Campus Central.
