The Centre for Accounting, Governance and Sustainability (CAGS) provides high quality research and world class expertise on accounting and its impacts in today’s fast-changing environment.

Located within the School of Commerce, the Centre’s researchers focus on contemporary issues including:

  • Sustainability accounting
  • Accounting education and governance
  • Multi-and trans-disciplinary perspectives on the role of accounting
  • Reflecting on the past to understand the present to change the future

Our research probes increasingly complex and globalised issues facing the world, to help educate the professional graduates of tomorrow.
