Tim
Olds, Director

Tim has been a Senior Lecturer at UniSA since 1997. He has published 50 refereed papers and book chapters in his specialist research areas of anthropometry, mathematical modeling, and children’s physical activity. He has won $4.4 million in grants and consultancies. He is author of the anthropometry text-book Anthropometrica, and of the LifeSize software. He is accredited at Level 3 by ISAK, and has been editor of ISAK’s newsletter Kinanthreport since 1997. He has run ISAK training courses in Sydney, Canberra, Perth, Brisbane, Adelaide and Seoul. Tim teaches in anthropometry, resistance training, statistics, philosophy, physiology and information technology.

Tomkinson, Coordinator

Grant was appointed as a Lecturer at UniSA in 2004. He has just completed his PhD in secular trends in children’s fitness. He has written seven refereed papers and book chapters, and been an invited keynote speaker at international conferences. His research specialities are children’s fitness, body symmetry, and anthropometry and body image. Grant is accredited at Level 3 by ISAK, and has run several training courses in Australia. Grant teaches in anthropometry, resistance training, physiology and information technology.
Elizabeth Lowe, Assistant Coordinator

Liz has published internationally in the area of anthropometry, and has lectured at UNSW and UniSA in biomechanics and exercise prescription for special populations. Her Masters research was in diabetes and resistance exercise.
