Teaching & Learning Awards 2009

The Division of Business is offering awards in recognition and reward for excellence in teaching and learning by individuals or teams. There will be three categories of awards for 2009.

  1. Excellence in Teaching in Business Award

This competitive award has been designed to recognise and reward academic staff in the Division of Business for excellence in teaching. Applications are invited from continuing and sessional staff who have made an outstanding contribution to student learning through excellence in teaching in Business. Applications may be submitted by individuals or teams.

The application in the proforma and any supporting information required must be submitted to Natasha Caulfield - Project Officer Teaching and Learning, by COB 22nd January 2010. Applications may be submitted electronically or in hard copy.

There will be up to 3 awards in this category. Each winner or team will receive $4000. The Division of Business offered awards for community engagement and excellence in teaching in business.

  1. Supporting Student Learning in Business Award

This competitive award has been designed to recognise and reward Academic (continuing or sessional), and Professional staff who have organised activities and services that make an outstanding contribution to supporting the quality of student learning in the Division of Business.

The application in the proforma and any supporting information required must be submitted to Natasha Caulfield - Project Officer Teaching and Learning, by COB 22nd January 2010. Applications may be submitted electronically or in hard copy.

There will be up to 2 awards in this category. Each winner or team will receive $2000.  

  1. Community Engagement Award

This competitive award has been designed to recognise and reward individuals and/or teams of staff in the Division of Business who have organised programs, activities and services that engage students with our communities and contribute to student learning and the social and cultural development of those communities. Applications will be accepted from both individuals and teams. Applications may be submitted electronically or in hard copy.

There will be one award in this category.  The winner or team will receive $2000. The application in the proforma and any supporting information required must be submitted to Natasha Caulfield - Project Officer Teaching and Learning, by COB 22nd January 2010.
