How to apply
Australian and/or Permanent Residents
If you are in the final stages of completing your undergraduate degree, or have completed your degree, you can apply at any time of the year. The Honours program has intakes in study period 2 and study period 5.
If you wish to apply for Honours, you will need to write a letter (either as a hardcopy or email), addressed to the Honours Program Director Dr Manjit Monga manjit.monga@unisa.edu.au
The letter needs to include information on:
- Why you wish to do Honours
- What your educational and work background is
- Your broad area of research interest only
- You do not have to have a supervisor to be able to apply for Honours . The Honours Program Director will assist you in finding a supervisor (and has the final determination of who supervisors will be).
You will also need to provide:
- Your academic transcript (web print-outs of transcripts are fine)
- A copy of your current Resume / CV
- Any other supporting documents to the claims made in your application
Based on your application, we may contact you to arrange a short meeting to further assess your eligibility and provide you with information.
