Program structure
The program is one year full-time (or 2 years part-time by agreement with the program director) and is undertaken face-to-face (i.e. internally). The level of Honours awarded worldwide is based on the degree being completed in one year full-time or 2 years part-time. Students complete three coursework components and focus the second half of the year (full-time) working with their Supervisor to prepare and submit their thesis. The program is 36 units and includes the following courses:

For more details on the courses see the program information page.
At the core of Honours is an independent research project you conduct in an area of research interest, which leads to the production of a thesis. The thesis should be between 13000 and 18000 words (absolute maximum) and is awarded after examination at the level of H1 (First Class Honours), H2a or H2b, and H3. Students are supervised by an academic supervisor qualified in the area.
We have over two dozen academics specialising in highly relevant areas for business that are on our register to supervise honours students. To obtain an idea of the kind of research interests, that are available please see our register of supervisors.
