Hannah Gleeson

'Marketing is a function that underpins most aspects of a business. I knew that studying marketing would allow me to understand broader areas of business as well as develop creative thinking and problem solving skills. I chose marketing at UniSA for the high calibre of its teaching staff and opportunities for corporate experience. The knowledge that lecturers and tutors bring to the classroom allows students to integrate textbook knowledge with real world scenarios. During my final year, I undertook a Marketing Planning Project. Being in a business environment helped develop skills in research and data analysis, and dealing with stakeholders was useful for my communication skills. But most importantly, I gained the confidence to hit the ground running when I finished my marketing degree.'
