![]() Professor Vicki Waye 'Participating in the ongoing development of a new School and a new law program is an exciting and rewarding experience. We have been able to put the essential building blocks in place that provide law students with a sound knowledge of the law, high-level communication skills, analytical problem-solving skills and the capacity to engage in critical thinking. We have done so with an emphasis on real-world learning, individual career path development and the embedding of professional skills in teaching and learning from the very first trimester of the student experience. Our students are highly engaged in their study of the law and we feel confident that our program will stimulate them to think about the law as an instrument of social, economic or public policy and how they might be able to apply the law in their professional lives.' |
