Neil Zwaans

'I am working in property and I wanted to gain experience as a property valuer with my employer and obtain my Certified Practicing Valuer status. I chose this program because of its good reputation within the property industry. During my studies I renovated two properties and am undertaking two small community-titled land sub-divisions. The Mentoring Scheme put me in contact with a highly-experienced professional at the Commonwealth Bank. I organised my own work experience at Valcorp, a property valuation firm. This resulted in part-time work during my final year and my current full-time position. Highlights of my time at UniSA have included winning the Upmarket Prize for Introduction to Property and Valuation. To do well in this field requires excellence in work performance, innovation in thinking and great communication skills. Getting good results for hard work is very rewarding.'
