Overview
The Peer Assisted Study Sessions (PASS) program is an academic assistance program designed to assist students with their understanding of the course content and performance in the course.
The PASS program is based on Supplemental Instruction (SI) developed at the University of Missouri in the United States, and the PASS program is used extensively in universities across Australia.

How does the PASS program work?
The sessions are facilitated by PASS Peer Leaders who are current students that have successfully completed the course and facilitate sessions to assist students in the course. The PASS Peer Leaders are employed by the Division of Business to provide these sessions to students.
According to a PASS Peer Leader - "This is a great opportunity for students to speak to us about revision strategies, exam strategies...course work, key concepts, techniques etc...The atmosphere is very relaxed and it is a good chance for students to chat and ask questions which they would feel more comfortable about asking fellow students. We do not give answers, nor are we completely 100% confident on all concepts. But we are able to talk to students about strategies for solving problems and tackling the exam...because we have both scored Distinctions and we have 'been there done that' only last study period."
You do not need to register, just check the timetable below and come along at the beginning of PASS in between your lectures and tutorials.
In 2008 96% of students who completed a survey would advise other students to attend the PASS program.
