Preparing for Study
An information session jointly offered by the Library and Learning and Teaching Unit to provide information on studying at University, services available and how students can prepare for their first week of lectures. This session will include a panel of current students talking about their experiences of being a first year student and you will be able to ask them questions.

Online@UniSA
Hands-on training session to familiarise students with the ways in which they will use computers in their study at UniSA. Including: the student portal, course homepages, submitting assignments online, participating in online discussions, accessing podcasts.

Enrolment and Credit
If you have not already enrolled or need to apply for credit and would like some assistance please come along to Campus Central and we will have E-buddies waiting to help you.
Student ID Cards
Campus Central staff will be available to issue your Student Identification card if you have not already collected your card. Please note it takes 30 minutes from the time you enrol online until your card can be issued.

- Expectations of academic writing and how they might be different from your previous study experience
- Step by step approach to preparing an assignment in a core course
- Academic integrity, referencing and avoiding plagiarism

Practical tips about banks, shopping, avoiding financial traps, scholarships, budgeting and other ways to save money. Includes useful guidelines and online resources to help you find work while you are studying; to know what employers expect of you, and ensure that you are being treated appropriately and paid fairly.

After hours repeat - this overview is for new students in the Division of Business who are unable to attend the daytime orientation sessions. Part-time and external students are particularly encouraged to attend.
