Welcome from the Pro Vice Chancellor
Welcome to the Division of Business at the University of South Australia, one of the premier business schools in Australia. We are one of only eight Australian business schools to be accredited by the European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS).
We are also members of the Association of Asia Pacific Business Schools and the USA-based Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, which are dedicated to improving the quality of international business and management education.
Today our world faces many challenges. In such a world, we need business people who are very skilled at what they do but who are also socially responsible national and international citizens.
At the University of South Australia we aim to produce graduates who have these characteristics.
We are also a research school - we investigate many different aspects of business and management, creating knowledge that is immediately useful to the community, and which also keeps our teaching up to date and alive. We have major research groupings in marketing, the regulation of markets and the economy, human resource management, accounting and governance, tourism and leisure management, and many highly skilled researchers in other areas.
