Audio Visual Equipment

Policy 4: It is not the responsibility of Division based IT staff to provide, test or set up audiovisual equipment

Each School/Unit is responsible for providing its staff with adequate audio/visual equipment. It is the responsibility of individual staff members to book any audio/visual equipment that they require, test that this equipment functions properly with their computer/notebook and to make the necessary arrangements to have this equipment delivered to and set up in the presentation room.

If staff have connectivity problems between their notebooks and audio-visual equipment, Division IT staff will attempt to assist, however, this must be arranged in advance with the relevant IT Support staff member. Division IT staff will often be unable to assist with rectifying problems at short notice.
