Entry Requirements
The BIS
Cooperative Program is available to those students who will have
completed the first two years of a relevant undergraduate degree.
Your current content of studies should be a combination of
Information Systems and Business/Management subjects.
Applicants
must have a good academic record with a Grade Point Average of at
least a Credit.
Selection Criteria
In addition to the entry requirements, the following criteria will be highly regarded:

oral and written communication skills

initiative and problem solving skills

leadership skills
-
teamwork skills
-
planning and organisational skills
-
flexibility and adaptiveness
-
achievement (eg. sporting, academic, others...)
Selection Process
Applicants will be required to submit a written application and
in the first instance, will be short-listed based on this
application. Short-listed candidates will then be invited to attend an interview
with academic staff and industry representatives.
Applicants
may be asked to prepare and present a topic at the interview,
however, details of this will be provided prior to the interview. References, reports or copies of the applicants' work may also be
requested.
Student Applications
A written application should be forwarded which includes a covering
letter stating why you would like to undertake the BIS Cooperative
Program, where possible addressing the selection criteria, together
with your resume which includes:

personal details

education details, in particular tertiary studies completed or currently undertaking (please attach your most recent Statement of Academic Achievement)

work experience (paid and/or unpaid)

achievements (sporting, community, academic, other...)
-
referees/references
