The work experience involved in the program has been very beneficial for me in the workplace, it has not only helped me to get a job but also to adapt very easily to a new work environment.
The work placements are an extremely beneficial part of the Program - providing help in finding your first fob and the work you will be doing in the future.
The Program has provided me with the opportunity to work with a fantastic network of students and gain invaluable industry experience whilst still at university.
The Program has given me the knowledge, experience and confidence to aim for the career and future that I want.
The demanding and challenging Honours year helped me reach a higher level of personal and professional achievement than a normal undergraduate degree would have.

The industry experience has been invaluable in forming the cornerstone of my career in IT.
The best decision I ever made was to accept the BIS offer as it provided me with vast job experiences that have been beneficial and valuable in my current employment. The subjects we studied enabled me to expand my knowledge in general IT. Coming from a programming background, the business aspect of the BIS program was valuable in providing me with a well-grounded, overall understanding of the whole IT industry.
By far the most benefit I obtained from the program was the industry experience. This experience placed my resume ahead of other students in the application for work.
The BIS program provided a great building block for my future career. It gave me the opportunity to gain valuable industry experience whilst studying.
I would highly recommend the BIS program to anyone who wants to excel in the information systems field. The combination of academic subjects & work experiences provided me with an excellent start to my career. The BBIS program gave me tools to be able to go into my new work with the confidence that I can do it. The work experience I got through the program put me a cut above the rest when applying for jobs after finishing my degree. Overall my experience with BBIS has been very positive in acquiring knowledge and it was a great place to meet people and socialise.
I found the BIS program to be an enjoyable challenge. The program provided me the opportunity to learn more about the workforce and provide me with business experiences that I would not have otherwise been exposed to. The people that I met while completing the program, both fellow students and business partners, were of great support - even now that I am in the workforce.
From my perspective, the main strengths in the Program lie in the wide range of exposure to the business environment and business practice, and the emphasis on team building skills, advanced communication skills and the application of them in a business setting.
