BBIS provided me with real life experiences dealing with current business issues. The placements with partner organisations allowed me to identify which IT issues businesses were focusing on. Working with industry members gave me the opportunity to develop an invaluable network within the IT industry. The placements also helped me focus on client satisfaction. The course work is a balanced foundation in both business and IT concepts as well as providing the student with an adaptable skill set which includes relevant business skills such as public speaking, report writing, teamwork and leadership skills. DMR has presented me with several opportunities including training and working in North Amaerica. I am confident that the skills I developed in the BBIS (Honours) were a positive factor in obtaining a position with DMR and the opportunities I have been presented with.
