Conferences and workshops
To maintain and
impart up-to-date
knowledge pertaining to the fields of business information management
and associated specialised fields staff try to participate and attend
relevant conferences and workshops.
Attendance at these events encourages networking with other leaders of their specialised fields. Newly discovered and proven innovative information can be gathered and
incorporated into the program course materials thus ensuring that future graduates and
industry will meet the needs of the 21st Century business information
manager.
Staff have presented their research papers and publications at many
conferences and workshops listed below highlighting the involvement of staff
in the associated industries. By staff being involved as Key Speakers
at these events it brings the nature of the Business Information Management
and Library and Information Management programs and specialisations to the
attention of many industry bodies.
Students are also more than welcome to attend conferences and workshops.
Students should also note to apply for membership to the relevant
accrediting association related to their chosen specialisation.
