Entry requirements:
To apply for entry to the Graduate Certificate in Business Information Management (all specialisations) applicants would normally hold a three-year degree, or an equivalent qualification, or five years of relevant professional experience.

To apply for entry to the Graduate Diploma or Master programs you need to have a recognised 3 year university Bachelor degree or equivalent qualification.

Fees for 2009

Language requirements:
International students who speak English as a foreign language must have obtained one of the following standards within the last two years prior to admission: International English Language Testing System (IELTS): test - band 6.5, or TOEFL 575; or previous successful secondary or tertiary study where English was the language of instruction.

To study these programs in Australia.
Depending on student background, the Master of Library and Information Management program may be completed in either the Standard track option (4 study periods over 2 academic years) or fast track option (3 study periods over 1.5 academic years). The standard option requires students to complete 13.5 units of courses per study period over 4 study periods or part-time equivalent. The fast track option requires students to complete 18 units of courses per study period over 3 study periods or equivalent.

The Master of Business Information Management can be completed in 1.5 years of full-time study..

The Doctorate of Information Technology Management can be completed in 3 years full-time study.

How to study in your home country
Students are able to undertake these degrees from their home country fully online.  Sometimes applying to study in another country is not always possible due to employment restrictions or financial and family issues.  These programs offered by UniSA now allow you to fulfil your dreams of postgraduate qualifications without leaving home!

If you do not have a university degree but have 5 years or more experience in a particular field you can apply to undertake the Graduate Certificate in Business Information Management (in any of the three specialisations).

If you have a 3 year degree you also have the opportunity to undertake the Graduate Diploma or Masters programs in either Business Information Management or Library and Information Management in your home country fully online.

How to apply depending on your citizenship:
As an International student wanting to apply you need to go to UniSA Apply Online International Applicants - and follow the prompts. International students please see the note below relating to your certified qualifications because if your documents are not forwarded to the International Office when you make your application it will not be considered.

If you are an Australian citizen or Australian resident, working in another country then you can apply through the Australian Applicants section.  If you do apply, and intend on doing it from another country, please ensure that you check the box to study external.
