Volunteering - a pathway to employment...
During the year many
organisations contact me regarding volunteer positions. Many of the
students have applied and have been very successful. Undertaking these
placements can provide you with a sense of achievement and the opportunity to
acquire new skills. Some students have obtained employment from these
placements. So if you see one advertised, you lose nothing by volunteering.
If you know of any additional links where there maybe a possibility of
students being able to under take a work placement - feel free to
email Moira the information.
