Operation Magpie teacher resources

Teaching resources from Operation Magpie are still available and can be used at any time.

Operation Magpie was a Citizen Science project run by the Barbara Hardy Institute in collaboration with 891 ABC Adelaide and the Department for Environment and Heritage. Researchers from UniSA's School of Natural and Built Environments and the School of Education produced a set of resources for school teachers to use. These resources were designed to help teachers run a unit of work on birds, and in particular, Magpies.
