We are offering Trial Introductory Flights to staff and friends of the university. Treat yourself, family or friends to views over Adelaide.

A Trial Introductory Flight is the perfect introduction to flight training.  Under the guidance of our highly qualified instructors, you will sit in the cockpit of the aircraft, be shown the controls and once in the air you will be able to take control and soar with the eagles.  A 30 minute flight will cost $139 (including GST). Please Note:  There are no further staff discounts.

A Trial Introductory Flight (TIF) can be undertaken at the University of South Australia Aviation Academy at Parafield Airport.  A Trial Introductory Flight consists of a 30 minute flight which begins with a pre-flight briefing (not included in the 30 minutes) which guide you through the controls of the aircraft and what will take place during the flight.

An instructor will then conduct the take off, and head towards the training area of Adelaide which is over the Two Wells and Dublin area, where the student will then take over control of the aircraft for approximately 20 minutes before heading back to Parafield Airport where the instructor will then land the aircraft.

Longer Trial Introductory Flight flights can be booked and details can be obtained from the Aviation Academy. Due to safety regulations, there are no passengers allowed on the flight.

Personalised gift vouchers can be obtained from the Academy upon payment for the flights. Please note this will be an ongoing offer throughout 2011.
