Creative masterclasses for design practioners - A series of 1 day professional development courses with renown designers and artists at City West campus. 
Renown visual artist Domenico de Clario will present a creative drawing Masterclass that will allow participants to experience the use of drawing as a generator for their design work. Participants will be encouraged to experiment with a variety of techniques to explore new ways of representing and developing their design projects.

 Kerry Phelan and artworkDomenico de Clario is an accomplished creative practitioner, with qualifications and extensive experience in architecture, planning, performance studies, painting, lithography, drawing, sculpture and installation. In December 2008 Domenico was appointed Director of the Australian Experimental Art Foundation, Australia's first contemporary art institution founded in 1974. Since 1966 he has held more than 170 solo exhibitions of paintings, drawings, prints, installations and sound performances and has been invited to exhibit in more than 140 group shows presented worldwide and in major Australian cities. He has received numerous international/national residencies and grants including the Australia Council Fellowship (1996-8) and has held academic positions at RMIT, Monash and Edith Cowan Universities. Domenico's paintings, drawings, prints and installations are included all major public and private collections in Australia, including the MOMA in New York, as well as in numerous private collections worldwide.
