Constance Gordon-Johnson Prize for Sculpture and Installation logoThe Constance Gordon-Johnson Prize for Sculpture and Installation was awarded for the sixth time in 2009. This award has been made possible by a generous donation from the estate of the late Constance Gordon-Johnson, a well known South Australian artist and arts worker. Constance Gordon-Johnson was well known as a leader in the visual arts, specifically community arts, and this award commemorates her vision, participation and creative spirit.

It is with great pleasure that the School of Art, Architecture and Design offers this award to a graduate student with a Specialisation in the studio area of Sculpture and Installation from either the Bachelor of Visual Arts or Bachelor of Visual Arts Honours programs.

The Constance Gordon-Johnson Sculpture and Installation Prize acknowledges outstanding achievement, and is awarded to a student on the strength of a body of work presented for selection.
