Student work
Statement on potentially controversial artworks
There is a worldwide tradition that visual artists, designers and
craftspeople experiment with visual forms, and that they frequently push
the boundaries around sensitive matters and make provocative statements
with great shock value. The South Australian School of Art encourages
its students and staff to explore and develop their creative potential.
It accepts that an art school is a place for experimentation and
challenge, however some people may find aspects of the material
presented in the course of their studies, and resultant artistic work,
confronting.
