Postgraduate and Research Office
South Australian School of Art Postgraduate and Research Office is located on level four in the Kaurna Building at the City West campus. Here you will find Dr John Barbour, Research Degree Coordinator, and Pippa Mathews, Administration Officer: Research and Postgraduate. Art and design research resources are available here for all staff and postgraduate students. These include grants information guides, research and development opportunities, publication guidelines, research and consultancy information, industry contacts and updates, and student theses and proposals.
Postgraduate enclave
Next to the Postgraduate and Research
Office in the Kaurna Building
is a
series of workstations with PCs shared between SA School of Art
and LLS School of Architecture and Design postgraduate students. There is
also a kitchen with microwave, fridge and tea and coffee making facilities.
A scanner, digital
camera, and digital
video camera are available for hire
to all SA School of Art postgraduate
students.
Liverpool Street studios
The studios at Liverpool Street comprise of a dedicated exhibition space,
fourteen studios, two offices with four PCs and one Mac which all have
internet access and one with printing facilities, a casual lounge, kitchen,
phone, toilets and storage areas.
South Australian School of Art fosters a vibrant postgraduate student culture through ancillary programs, including a critical reading group, work-in-progress seminars, studio critiques and social functions.
