Orientation for new students 2009
Welcome to the South Australian School of Art and congratulations on
receiving and accepting an offer to the University!
Orientation activities introduce you to campus life, to people, to new ways of teaching and learning and to the multitude of resources and support available at the University of South Australia. It is highly recommended that you attend the orientation activities for your program. Your Orientation activities are outlined below for the programs:
- Bachelor of Visual Arts (Specialisation) (DBVS)
- Bachelor of Design (Visual Communication) (DBVC)
- Graduate Diploma in Visual Art and Design (Specialisation) (DGAD)
- Master of Visual Art and Design (Specialisation) (DMAD)
Pre-Enrolment Advice Session
DBVS new students
To make your enrolment into the program easier, Bachelor of Visual Arts (Specialisation) (DBVS) new students must attend a compulsory Pre-Enrolment Advice Session. Staff will explain the various courses in your first year and give you advice about the choices you need to make.

Early Preparation Workshops
Early Preparation Workshops are available for commencing students who are mature age, studying externally, have been studying at TAFE or have a disability. The workshops are offered in mid February. Check the New students website for more details and to register.
