Employment in the School

From time to time the South Australian School of Art will seek to employ people from the art and design communities to undertake a variety of tasks, which are typically and primarily teaching-based. Such people are selected on their:

To maintain an up-to-date database, the School welcomes people seeking employment providing the School with their curriculum vitae, an outline of their work history, the names of two referees and the identification of their specific competencies. The School would like to refer people seeking employment to its policy on equivalence which recognises contribution to the field as having at least as high a value as academic qualifications and teaching expertise. Additionally, the School would remind people seeking employment that they must meet the minimum requirements for identified positions as per enterprise agreements and policies. The School would also like to indicate to people seeking employment that it only offers a limited number of teaching places per study period, based on students' expressed preferences. People may subsequently register their interest in being employed by the University on the Sessional Employment Register
