Professional Practice
The Architecture program enjoys a strong relationship with the architectural profession of Adelaide, and has considerable contact with significant practitioners nationally and internationally. The local chapter of the Royal Australian Institute of Architects (RAIA) is a key stakeholder in advising the School on the Architecture program, and collaborates with the Program in efforts such as the Mentor Program. The Architecture program is fully accredited with the RAIA, fulfilling one of the principal requirements within Australia for registration to practice as an architect. Several staff members hold key positions in the RAIA, and a associate editors to four major architectural design publications in the nation.
